After last year’s overwhelming success, we want to build on it: We are opening the doors again in over sixty Hackerspaces on March 25 and invite the curious and inquisitive to visit us in our natural habitats.
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the International Open Hackerspace Day, the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) invites you to come together with nerds and hackers on March 25, 2023, and join us as we take apart hardware and hacking myths. So if you want to see for yourself, you should come by.
We want to introduce ourselves, open our workshops, show our diverse projects as well as electronic and mechanical gadgets, chat with you over mate or soda about the social consequences of technical developments, or simply watch computers quietly or excitedly working things out together.
In more than half a dozen countries, Hackerspaces will be joining in and opening their doors.
You can visit us in sixty places from A for Aachen to Z for Zurich, in particular in Aachen, Aalen, Andernach, Aschaffenburg, Augsburg, Backnang, Bamberg, Basel, Bayreuth, Berlin, Bern, Bielefeld, Bochum, Chemnitz, Coburg, Darmstadt, Dortmund, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Essen, Flensburg, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Fulda, Fürth, Gera, Gotha, Halle, Hamburg, Hannover, Heilbronn, Hildesheim, Hilpoltstein, Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe, Köln, Leipzig, Lübeck, Mannheim, Marburg, Münster, Neuss, Nürnberg, Offenburg, Oldeburg, Paderborn, Ransbach-Baumbach, Rotterdam, Schwerin, Siegen, Stralsund, Tübingen, Uppsala, Villingen-Schwenningen, Wien, Wiesbaden, Wuppertal, Würzburg und Zürich.
Hackerspaces are as diverse as the cities in which they have grown and the people who have made them their home - and you can become the impetus for your very own research, tinkering or philosophy niche in Erfas or Chaostreffs (as we call them) near you. Because these spaces stand for a creative approach to technology but are also places to finally meet normal people.
We are looking forward to your visit!
