HITBSecConf2007 – Malaysia will run from the 3rd until the 6th of September in Hilton KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur. Featuring keynote speakers Mark 'Phiber Optik' Abene, Emmanuel Goldstein, Lance Spitzner and Mikko Hypponen, this years conference is expected to draw 800 attendees from around the world! The event kicks off with 7-tracks of 2-day training sessions followed by a 2-day dual-track conference with over 30 hours of deep knowledge presentations.

In addition there will also be the annual 'live hacking' competition known as Capture The Flag which has received confirmation of participation from the US Army, Bulgaria, Korea and Singapore. There will also be an updated Zone-H hacking challenge, a bzflag arena (organized by the US Army) and charity screenings of 'Urchin' and 'Freedom Downtime' in aid of the Malaysian National Cancer Council.
